MAIA was delighted to enter a team to take to the fairways recently for the 2026 Ladbrook Park Charity Am-Am, combining a great day of golf with the opportunity to support an important local cause.

Now in its 42nd year, the Charity Am-Am has been bringing together members, guests, friends and supporters of Ladbrook Park Golf Club since 1984, using a shared love of golf to help make a difference to young people and their families. Over that time, the generosity of the Ladbrook Park community has helped provide wheelchairs, mobility aids and specialist equipment for almost 100 children.
This year’s event was held in support of Katie and Olivia, with funds being raised towards specialist Ki Mobility Rogue 2 wheelchairs designed to give them greater freedom, comfort and independence.
Supporting on and off the course
MAIA was pleased to support the Charity Am-Am in two ways this year. Alongside entering a team to take part in the competition, MAIA provided sponsorship through an advert in the official event brochure, helping contribute towards the funding of the event. The brochure recognised MAIA Asset Management among the businesses supporting the day through advertising.
MAIA’s message in the programme summed up why the team was so pleased to get involved: supporting an event helping to fund advanced wheelchairs that can make a genuine difference to young lives.
Laurence Boyle & Simon Jackson along with two guests thoroughly enjoyed being part of the day at Ladbrook Park, joining the many players, sponsors, volunteers and supporters who came together behind Katie and Olivia. A great day of golf culminated in the MAIA team finishing 6th out of 42.
A huge thank you goes to everyone at Ladbrook Park Golf Club involved in organising the Charity Am-Am and to all those who contributed, donated, sponsored and played.
We were proud to play our part in such a worthwhile event – and to enjoy a little friendly competition along the way!
