MAIA was delighted to take up sponsorship of Blossomfield Cricket Club, Solihull back in March 2022, and we’re now excited to report that one of their players, Ethan Carrington, has been selected for Worcestershire CCC 2nd XI.

It’s a fantastic achievement and very well deserved, so well done Ethan! We’ll be watching your progress closely!

Cricket has always been very close to our hearts and, as a business, we’ve had a long involvement with the game. One of our team, Simon Jackson was a top class club cricketer in his day and is still a keen cricketer, while Product Specialist, Sophie Taylor, used to play for Warwickshire County team, and other members of the team are keen cricket followers.

When the opportunity came to sponsor Blossomfield Cricket Club, we jumped at the chance and couldn’t be more proud to see MAIA’s logo on the players’ cricket whites and also on advertising boards.

The club has a formidable track record, winning many honours and developing county standard cricketers, as Ethan’s selection aptly demonstrates. We particularly applaud their dedication to the development of talented young cricketers and encouragement of young players to become involved in senior cricket. It’s the up and coming young people who will be the future cricket stars of tomorrow, and we firmly believe in giving them full support.

As well as providing a great place to play cricket, with excellent sport facilities, Solihull Blossomfield is very much a social hub, with a great programme of events, and we fully appreciate being able to attend games and events in the club’s stunning location. With over 800 members, it’s a thriving and popular club, with a great energy and enthusiasm and we are very much enjoying our role as sponsors.

It simply remains to say: go Ethan! You are a great inspiration to the younger cricketers and a wonderful ambassador for the game. Your selection puts Solihull Blossomfield firmly on the map, underlining the high standard of cricket we can always expect to see at the club.
