Head of research, Maia Asset Management

With over 35 years of experience in the investment management industry, Beccie Williams is a founding director, head of research and portfolio manager at Maia Asset Management.

Williams began her career at Albert E Sharp, where she spent a decade before moving to Williams de Broë, later known as Investec Wealth & Investment. There, she worked as senior investment director and deputy fund manager for its Assetmaster team.

Following City Financial’s acquisition of the Assetmaster fund range in 2015, Williams’ fund management team, led by Laurence Boyle, left the business.

Williams and Boyle then launched Maia, where they continue their professional relationship first established at Williams de Broë.
