MAIA’s Laurence Boyle returns to the Wealth Manager Top 100 having first appeared in the list in 2022.
The midlands-based MPS provider has grown to £750m in assets under management since Boyle co-founded the firm in 2016.
A key introduction to MAIA’s portfolios this year has been longer duration Gilts, accessed through iShares Over 15 Years Gilts Index Fund. A number of value strategies have also been introduced, namely the Schroder ISF Emerging Markets Value fund, the Janus Henderson European Smaller Companies fund, and the Nomura Japan Strategic Value fund.
Boyle has more than 35 years of experience in the industry. At Williams de Broe (latterly Investec Wealth and Investment), he was chair of the investment strategy unit, head of collective research, and also launched and managed a range of fund-of-funds.
